Being a bus driver at STIB is not only about transporting passengers every day, it is above all about serving more than 400 million customers a year on a network that is constantly expanding.
In concrete terms, on a daily basis, you will be responsible for
- meeting customer expectations by welcoming them and informing them of schedules, routes or stops
- informing your customers about fares and sell tickets
- transporting customers safely
- managing traffic in urban areas
Required profile
- Be at least 21 years old
- Minimum lower secondary level
- Be a holder of a driver’s licence B
- Have a functional knowledge of french or dutch
- Have a commercial attitude and resist stress
You do not need a driver’s licence D as the STIB takes care of the complete training if you are hired,.
